Instructional Video

This first video has had a positive reception!  It is a first step in how to use the basic Dynamics Processor in Audition, and how to train your ear to use Compression and Limiting to properly properly control levels in production.  This video has had over 43,250 views!

This video was produced to show students the use of full automation features within Adobe Audition.  How virtually every command can be automated to change or start/stop over time or at a specific point in production.  This has over 13,000 views.

This video showcases some of the advanced equalization or EQ tools within Audition.  They include the FFT filter as well as why using the Parametric EQ is easier and more precise than using multiband Graphic EQ.  This video has over 1,300 views.

This video shows the use of advanced compression techniques such as Side Chain Compression (aka "ducking"), as well as skills that enhance workflow.  These would include bussing many tracks together to be controlled by another channel, or the use of taking a parallel output or send to use for creative purposes.  This video has over 8,000 views.

This video shows advanced dynamic control tools going beyond the basic Dynamics Processing.  This looks at the Tube Modelled Compressor, the Dynamics module, and the Multi-Band Compressor.  These tools build on the basics learned about Dynamics Processing to help control levels.  This video has almost 1,000 views.

This video shows the use of time-based effects within Adobe Audition.  It shows use of, and difference between, Echo and Delay.  Although they are similar, they are quite different.  As well, this video shows use of the Analog Delay for creative purposes.  This video has almost 1,000 views.

These videos were created for my students and posted to my YouTube channel.  They deal with the intricacies of audio editing software.
