Education Responsibilities: Solely responsible for course content and development of all courses taught at Loyalist College in Radio Broadcasting, Journalism, General Education, and Combined Media programs - Radio Production 1, 2, & 3, Feature Production, Voice Development 1 & 2 for Radio Broadcasting as well as for Journalism and Media Experience students, Radio Online, Station Operations 1 and 2, Music as a Change Agent general education course. I served as Program Coordinator for the Radio Broadcasting program at Loyalist College (2013-2014). Contributed to revisions of Program of Study (2013, 2016, 2018, 2021). Contributed to the update/revision of the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities (MTCU) program standard for Radio Broadcasting (2013-4, 2023). Loyalist College representative at Broadcast Educators Association of Canada (BEAC) annual conference 2014 and 2017. Served as Faculty Representative on the Board of Directors for CJLX-FM, ensuring sound station management and fiscal responsibility (2012-present). Served to market the Radio Broadcasting program at Loyalist College by developing and presenting program displays at College Open Houses, as well as personal program contact for all program applicants. Content generator and supervisor for Radio Broadcasting social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram – 2015 to present). Co-author Voice Development Workbook (2016).
Production Responsibilities: Production of various local, regional, and national commercials and PSA’s, station promos and imaging. This involves analyzing script for broadcast feasibility and creative direction. Choosing and directing voice talent, creating required background, and merging all elements into the final product, while meeting deadlines. Acted as Producer and Engineer for visiting musicians, providing an audio mix that was above their expectations allowing them to concentrate on giving a better performance. Freelance work for selected advertising agencies as Audio Producer and Voice Talent.
Technical Upgrades: Designed and supervised the implementation of a second Production suite for CHEZ-FM from the initial idea phase, through business plan, final construction, and installation. Removed and reinstalled both suites during the move to new location. Designed and specified a second Production suite for sister station CFMO/Smiths Falls (now CKBY). I implemented the change from analog recording, to MDM digital multi-track recording, to non-linear digital recording and use of compressed audio files. Specified the audio software and interface for the Production suites at the Ottawa Rogers Radio Group building, and supervised studio installation through amalgamation. Supervised the conversion of audio and data to mass storage and automation systems (including Scott Studios and DCS) from analog and digital manual playback systems. Worked with Synrtrillium Software on pre-release versions of Cool Edit Pro 2.0 and 2.1 audio editing software and with Adobe Systems on pre-release versions of Adobe Audition 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, and 3.0 audio editing software.
Creative Team: Worked as Creative Writer, as part of the Creative team for selected clients, collaborating directly with clients and their representatives to create personalized, effective, advertising campaigns. Promoted to Production Supervisor to oversee a staff of Producers, and ensure proper flow of material in and out of the studios, while maintaining correct attitude and sound for various formats. Was Contributing Writer and regular Columnist for Radio & Production magazine, a print-now-digital magazine specifically for Radio Producers.
Promotion Work: Participated in traveling video shows as Technician. Constructed and staffed station display booth during various trade shows. Active participant in station teams for community activities.

PERSONAL INTERESTS:
Bass player in the Church Worship band, and Producer for recorded and released worship music. I served as member of Board of Directors of condominium corporation (CCC #252 1999-2003) as VP. Member of the Trenton Rotary Club (2018 – present), including Director of Club Service (2021-2022) and Director of Community Service (2022-2023).
